Good resources for internet anonymity and privacy

Sick of getting targeted ads, trackers, and so on? Tired of massive companies like Facebook, Google, and Yahoo hoarding your personal information and data, reading your emails, and selling your information to the highest bidder? A little annoyed by Google's collusion with China's Big Brother censorship? Stick it to them!

If you have a WiFi network, your internet provider can look at every site you look at. You can fool them by tying another router to the router they provide.
https://protonmail.com/ is the best email provider for anonymity. They take pains to keep it that way.
They also have a FREE private virtual private network here:
https://protonvpn.com/ which means all you need to do is sign up for an account, download the VPN, activate it, and bam - instant internet anonymity. No censorship on videos and so on. Or, you can read the email they send you when you get an email address and follow its directions.
Epic Privacy Browser is also good for preventing a lot of the cookies and trackers that sites like Amazon like to put on your computer. It is faster than Firefox, has the same basic engine as Google Chrome, but doesn't have Google's rapey attitude.

If you're concerned about search engines, well, you should be. I use www.ecosia.com because I'm not too worried about privacy and they plant trees for every ad someone clicks on. However, www.startpage.com is better if you are concerned.
Don't forget to permanently delete any accounts you no longer use. A simple web search should help you accomplish this. If you don't do this, all your data will merely be stored by various corporate giants, and they'll still be able to sell it to the highest bidder.
