Fruit flavored black tea
Boil 1 c. water
Ready this in a mug:
2 slices of banana
2 slices of strawberry
1 thin slice of orange, de-seeded
1 black tea bag
Pour the boiling water over everything. Sweeten to taste.
Raspberry fig black tea
Simmer 5 c. water and 4 chopped black figs for 5 minutes. Take it off the heat.
Add:
4 black tea bags
1/2 c. raspberries, fresh or frozen
Let steep for 10 minutes, strain, and serve. Sweeten to taste.
Nom Nom herbal black tea
Boil 5 c. water
Add:
6 black tea bags
2 peppermint tea bags
1 bay leaf
Sweeten to taste with honey
Peach black, oolong, or green tea
Boil 4 c. water.
Add:
4 black, oolong, or green tea bags
1 finely diced fresh peach or 1 handful of thawed frozen peaches
Let it steep for 10 minutes. Strain if you wish. Sweeten to taste.
Peach lemon green tea
Pour 4 c. less-than-boiling water over 2 green tea bags, 3 lemon slices, and 5 peach slices. Or mix 3 2/3 c. boiling water and 1/3 c. cold water, then pour that over. Let steep for 15 minutes. Strain if desired and sweeten to taste.
Strawberry tea
Bring 4 c. water and 8 fresh hulled strawberries to a boil.
Add 4 black or green teabags (optional).
Let it steep for 15 minutes. Strain out the strawberries and eat them. Sweeten to taste.
Banana peach black tea
Bring 5 c. water to a boil
Add 4 black teabags, 1 thinly sliced banana, and 1 thinly sliced peach. You don't need to peel the peach.
Let that steep for 30 minutes. Strain if desired and sweeten to taste.
Autumn black tea
Slice up an apple so you get three wedges. Put those in a mug.
Add three blackberries and a black teabag.
Pour boiling water over and allow to cool
Pomegranate jasmine green tea
Add a handful of pomegranate arils to a cup of jasmine green tea. Or alternatively cool the tea first, extract juice from pomegranate seeds using a blender, and then add 2 tbsp juice per cup of tea
